What Is Sustainable Denim?

Have you noticed how the strain we put on natural resources keeps climbing, while what we give back barely moves? Waste piles up and refuses to break down, rivers and air grow more polluted, and green space keeps shrinking. It is a sobering picture, and clothing is a bigger part of it than most of us like to admit.

Keeping this planet green has always been our shared responsibility, and small steps add up to something meaningful. As people who live and breathe fashion, one of the most direct ways we can lighten the load is by cutting down on textile waste. Sustainable denim is one of the answers, and our latest release falls squarely into that eco-friendly category.

Garments that last are garments you do not throw away.

This sustainable fiber is produced by TENCEL using environmentally responsible materials. The fibers are made from wood, yet they still spin into genuinely high-quality denim, the kind you can wear for years, which is exactly the point: garments that last are garments you do not throw away. TENCEL's sustainable fiber is also certified to biodegrade and return to nature in a remarkably short time.

We have two styles in this line ready now and arriving soon: the DEANA Sustainable Denim in 12 oz and the ASHBEE Sustainable Denim in 15 oz. It feels like the right moment to take part in caring for an environment that is, after all, ours to protect together.
